Vault Visit | Senior citizens display things they've made

Items ranged from art to dolls to blankets.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — This year... WFMY News 2 turns 75 So to celebrate... We're opening the WFMY News 2 vault

On May 14, 1969, WFMY checked out a local senior citizen exhibition.

Members of various local senior citizen clubs displayed things they made.

Items ranged from art to dolls to blankets.

Ms. May Landreth talked with us about her inspiration.

"I see anything I'm interested in, I'm going to try and make it. And I most always succeed," said Landreth.

She's wearing a rocking chair hat she made on crazy hat day.

She also showed off a pin cushion and bread warmer she made.
