GREENSBORO, N.C. — This year, WFMY News 2 is turning 75 and we want to celebrate our viewers who are also turning 75!
First up is Charles, who everyone knows as Wayne. He lives in Yadkinville and turned 75 on May 27th. He is a husband, father, and pawpaw who is quiet, loving, caring, and faithful. He was an extra in the movie "The Gardener's Son" in a scene that was shot in Worthville! Happy birthday Wayne.
Here's another yadkinville 75th! Happy birthday to Malcolm! He turns 75 May 30! Happy birthday Malcolm .
Happy birthday Hester. She also turns 75 May 30! She lives in Madison and her family says she is the best mother. They say she's funny to be around and a great cook. Happy birthday Hester.
Happy birthday Debbie! She also turns 75 May 30. Check out her love story! Debbie and her husband, Mike, were next-door neighbors and grew up together, but they eventually married other people and went their separate ways. Their spouses died (in 2016 and 2019) and Debbie and Mike reconnected in 2020, and married in 2021! Hopefully Mike helped make this a happy 75th for Debbie! Happy birthday Debbie!
Last but not least, happy birthday Richard. He's turning 75 on Saturday, June first. He is a High Point native and lives in Wallburg. Happy 75th birthday to you!
