BUFFALO, N.Y. — As we enter into the last month of 2024, one holiday tradition many music lovers look forward to is Spotify's yearly 'Wrapped' playlists and statistics on a listeners year in music.
Those who have a Spotify account, receive what the streaming service refers to as "Your listening highlights, and more." every year ahead of the new year.
It has yet to come out, but Spotify says in the meantime to "Keep playing what you love, and we’ll get in touch when it’s ready.".
In 2023 Spotify's top artists globally for the year included Taylor Swift at number 1 with 26.1 billion streams, followed by Bad Bunny, The Weeknd, Drake, Peso Pluma, and more.
The top global song of 2023 was "Flowers" by Miley Cyrus, followed by "Kill Bill" by SZA, "As It Was" by Harry Styles, and more.
