GREENSBORO, N.C. — Shelby J. is a light. Wherever she goes she spreads love and music. In the early 2000's she was singing with the one and only Prince, an experience that shaped who she was musically and changed her forever.
While most of us will never know what it was like to share a stage with a legend for a Super Bowl halftime show...she does. It was 2007 and the big game was being held in Miami, just like this year.
Music journalists wrote about the legendary performance and even how it started to rain as Prince sang Purple Rain. It was incredible.
