NC country music artist Scotty McCreery stops concert in Colorado

Scotty McCreery was performing over the weekend at the Colorado State Fair.

PUEBLO, Colorado — North Carolina native and country music artist Scotty McCreery was singing when he stopped his concert last weekend in Colorado.

The country music artist saw a man allegedly hitting a woman

McCreery performed at the Colorado State Fair in Pueblo, Colorado on Aug. 24. The fair will run until Sept. 2, and other music artists expected to perform during the fair include Trace Adkins and Ludacris.

McCreery is on tour promoting his recent album, Rise & Fall. He is expected to play two shows in North Carolina during November. One of the shows will be at Harrah's Casino Resort in Cherokee on Nov. 15, and the other will be at Coyote Joe's in Charlotte on Nov. 14, where McCreery will be joined by several country music artists.
