GREENSBORO, N.C. — Triad Stage in downtown Greensboro will become a music venue. A group of local investors bought the regional theater on South Elm Street, which closed last year after 20 seasons.
The sale was finalized last week.
Crews are already in the process of transforming the space and pulling out old carpets.
They plan to add 100 more seats to make it a 400-seat venue.
They haven't finalized a name or an opening date yet.
