WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Multiple alumni from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA) are nominated for Emmy Awards. The nominations for the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards were announced virtually on July 17.
The nominees include popular TV and streaming shows that aired between June 2023 and May 2024.
The UNCSA alumni who are nominated include:
Tiffany Little Canfield (B.F.A. Drama ’00) is nominated for outstanding casting for a comedy series for Hulu’s “Only Murders in the Building.” The series has a total of 21 nominations including outstanding comedy series.
Danny McBride (B.F.A. Filmmaking ’99) is nominated in the outstanding documentary or nonfiction series category for his work as an executive producer on the HBO series “Telemarketers.”
Alex Perrone (B.F.A. Dance ’12) is nominated for outstanding prosthetic makeup for the Disney+ sci-fi series “Ahsoka.”
The entertainment category awards will be presented on Sunday, Sept. 15. The ceremony will be broadcast at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
