WILKES COUNTY, N.C. — MerleFest is back with a stellar lineup for its 2025 festival, taking place April 24-27 on the campus of Wilkes Community College in Wilkesboro, NC. This annual celebration of the late Doc Watson's musical legacy promises to deliver unforgettable performances from legendary acts and rising stars alike.
The 2025 lineup just got bigger, with acts like I’m With Her, Leftover Salmon, Stephen Wilson Jr., The Steel Wheels, Tami Neilson, and Becky Buller joining the roster. Emerging talents, including honky-tonk sensation Emily Nenni and blues guitarist Cristina Vane, will also take the stage. Fans can look forward to performances from headliners like The Avett Brothers, Bonnie Raitt, The Dead South, Watchhouse, and more.
Late Night Jam Returns
A major highlight of this year’s festival is the return of the Late Night Jam, hosted by bluegrass icon Sam Bush. This special set will feature unique collaborations with artists such as East Nash Grass, Peter Rowan, and Woody Platt. Lindsay Craven, Artist Relations Manager, says the jam embodies the spirit of MerleFest: “It’s a space for unexpected musical magic and top-tier performances.”
Tickets for the Late Night Jam are available now and require a Friday festival wristband for entry.
