CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The cast has been announced for the upcoming sixth season of the popular Netflix show "Love is Blind," which is based in Charlotte this time around.
WCNC Charlotte previously spoke to one of the cast members, a Charlotte educator who made history as the youngest principal on record at his school.
Kenneth Gorham took over Movement Middle as principal for the 2022-2023 school year. As the youngest principal in Movement’s history, he broke the mold of what many think a principal should look like. He told WCNC Charlotte he hopes his story will empower students to own the Movement School teachings, which is to own the room and lead by example.
"As a Black male educator, as a Black male leader, my job is truly to empower our children to show them like beyond what the world may believe or perceive. You can absolutely change that narrative every single day," Gorham said.
On "Love is Blind," men and women look for love during a social experiment. The singles will meet their potential soulmates as they form emotional bonds in pods, before even seeing their match face-to-face. If they end up engaged before leaving the pods, they'll then discover if their physical connections in the real world can match the emotional ones.
Season six of "Love is Blind," is set to start streaming on Feb. 14, 2024.
