WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — The Winston-Salem Holiday Parade is coming up!
On Saturday, Dec. 2 at 5 p.m., the festivities will begin.
Just be sure to look out for these road closures on the day of the parade.
- 4th Street between Broad Street and Spruce Street (Closed at 1:00 p.m.)
- 4th Street between Poplar Street and Liberty Street (Closed at 4:30 p.m.)
- Liberty Street between 5th Street and 1st Street (Closed at 4:30 p.m.)
- 1st Street between Main Street and Cherry Street (Closed at 4:30 p.m.)
The road closures occur between 1 p.m. and 8 p.m.
The Winston-Salem Police Department said they will be facilitating traffic and event security. But, it's still a good idea to take different routes on the day of the parade. Police also recommend to those who live in the area of the event to not leave any vehicles along the closed roads.
