GREENSBORO, N.C. — Piedmont Winterfest returns to Greensboro starting this Friday!
The event, which runs from November 15-January 26, features outdoor ice skating at a rink the city has set up at LeBauer Park along N. Davie Street. Winterfest is a collaboration between Downtown Greensboro Incorporated, the Greensboro Ice House and City of Grace Solutions LLC.
This is the 15th edition of the Piedmont Winterfest, which first began back in 2009.

Piedmont Winterfest 2024
When: November 15-January 26
Where: LeBauer Park in Downtown Greensboro
Hours of operation: 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday. Extended hours on Nov. 27-29, Dec. 23-24, Dec. 26-27 and Dec. 30-Jan. 3.
Admission:
- Regular Price — $15
- Skate trainers — $5/hour
- Season pass — $100
Parking: Nearest parking deck is the Church St. Parking Deck
Reservations:
- Piedmont Winterfest doesn't pre-book large group reservations during public sessions. Groups of 10 or more skaters receive 15% off their admission and skate rental.
- If you would like to arrange a private ice reservation, please email piedmontwinterfest@gmail.com. Private rentals are $350 an hour.
Curling: Piedmont Winterfest will also feature a competitive Curling League. Curling matches — known as bonspiels — will take place every Monday and Tuesday throughout the duration of the event. If interested in joining, email piedmontwinterfest@gmail.com.
