RALEIGH, N.C. — Tickets are now available for purchase for North Carolina's annual State Fair.
According to the NC Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, the State Fair will return to its fairgrounds from Oct. 17-27.
The best way to save a few dollars on tickets is to take advantage of the fair's advance ticket discounts. Right now, advance tickets for adults ages 13-64 are $10, youth ages 6-12 tickets are $5, children 5 and under are free and senior adult tickets are $5.
If you're planning on enjoying the fair with a group of 40 or more, you can snag your tickets for just $8 per person (aged 13-64). Youth groups of 40 or more can buy their tickets at $4 per person. These group discounts are only available during the advance ticket sale and will not be offered at the gate come October.
