GREENSBORO, N.C. — Need something for your kiddos to do this summer?
The Greensboro Police Department (GPD) announced on Monday, July 15 it's holding an "online summer camp" for local kindergarten children to help design its official logo.
The police department said via Facebook it's looking specifically for rising kindergarten children to show off their artistic skills in the logo-drawing event.
The winner of the event will be invited to GPD's headquarters where they'll meet the Chief, receive a "cool collector's coin" and tour the inside of a police car.
Parents can submit their child's drawn logo by messaging GPD's Facebook. Submissions should include the child's name and age along with fun information about them.
Winners will be selected by a social media poll.
