GREENSBORO, N.C. — The city of Greensboro announced Thursday afternoon all programs at Smith and Trotter Active Adult Centers are canceled on Aug. 9 until 1 p.m.

Classes at AHOY in Glenwood will also be canceled until the afternoon.

The decision comes as flash flood warnings continue in the Triad and Tropical Depression Debby subsides. The city of Greensboro said it hopes staring programs later on Friday will allow time for debris from the storm to be removed.
