BURLINGTON, N.C. — Publix is set to soon open in Burlington and that means a new opportunity for more than 100 people.
The grocery store will hold a grand opening on Wednesday. The new store is located on South Church Street near the Holly Hill Mall in Burlington. The Sears building was torn down to make way for the grocery store. Publix said about 130 people will work there.
This is the Triad’s fourth Publix store to open.
