DAVIDSON COUNTY, NC (WFMY) - A teacher and child are okay after being hit by a car in the parking lot at Wallburg Elementary School Thursday morning.
The teacher was walking across the parking lot with her son according to Davidson County Schools. The teacher picked the child up before impact when they were both knocked to the ground. Neither were seriously hurt, but the teacher did get a medical checkup as a precaution. The driver of the car was a parent.
Davidson County Schools previously reported the child was not hit by the car.
