GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. — 2 The Rescue for Sunday features adorable Tom! He is a very nice, male American bulldog mix. He is about three years old, and weighs 43.5 pounds.
Tom walks well on the leash, is interested in everything that goes on around him, and responds well to direction. He likes to meet other animals and rides well in a car. He can jump in and out easily.
Tom’s adoption fee has been waived due to his length of stay at the shelter. He has been neutered, is up-to-date on all vaccinations and is micro-chipped. Tom is heart-worm positive and will need to go through the treatment to cure him of the disease, at the adopter’s veterinarian of choice. After that, he will need to be on heart-worm preventative monthly for the rest of his life to maintain his new healthy condition.
