HIGH POINT, N.C. -- A man crashed his car into a store Tuesday afternoon in High Point.
Police said the man drove into the Mattress Factory Store off Penny Road in High Point. Investigators said the man had a medical emergency behind the wheel while driving into the store. He was taken to a hospital where his condition is unknown at this time.
Police said in a separate incident an elderly woman crashed into the Carolina Thrift store on North Main Street. Police said the woman was injured in the crash and it’s possible she also had a medical emergency.
A Waffle House in Greensboro reopened recently after a driver crashed into the restaurant injuring a man. It happened at the restaurant located on Big Tree Way. The driver was charged with DWI, Careless and Reckless Driving and Driving with a Revoked License.
