GREENSBORO, NC - Police are looking for a man suspected of assaulting to Greensboro College employees.
A campus spokesperson says police are searching for 18-year-old Earl Gaddis, Jr. He is wanted for simple assault and assault inflicting serious injury.
Greensboro College was placed on lockdown Tuesday afternoon when two employees with the college were assaulted according to Lex Alexander, the school's Communications Director.
Neither employee saw a weapon, but a lockdown was enforced as a precaution.
Greensboro College students said they were in class when an alert came to their phones that the school was on lockdown. Teachers locked the classroom doors. After 40 minutes, they received a message the lockdown was lifted.
The lockdown was lifted when the school was assured by police that the suspect had left campus.
It's not yet known if the suspect was caught.
