That same year, actor John McCook who stars on The Bold and The Beautiful as Eric Forrester paid us a visit on the Good Morning Show.

  • Monti Sharp, attended North Carolina School of the Arts, appeared in “General Hospital,” “As The World Turns,” and “Guiding Light”
  • Matthew Ashford, attended North Carolina Schools of the Arts, appeared in “Days of Our Lives” and other soaps.
  • Natalia Livingston, attended North Carolina Schools of the Arts, appeared in General Hospital
  • Patricia Ann “Patsy” Pease, attended North Carolina Schools of the Arts, most known for her role as Kimberly Brady on “Days of Our Lives”

  • Actor, Burgess Jenkins was born in Winston-Salem, N.C.
  • Actress, Patricia Ann “Patsy” Pease was born in Charlotte, N.C.
  • Actor, Robert Duncan McNeill was born in North Carolina and was known for his role on “All My Children.”

NATIONAL BLACK THEATRE FESTIVAL

In March of 2017, two names familiar to soap opera fans attended the National Black Theatre Festival in Winston-Salem.

Both Anna Maria Horsford and Obba Babatunde who star on The Bold and the Beautiful served as celebrity co-chairs at the festival.
