GREENSBORO, N.C. - Investigators say a violent suspect from Oklahoma City was caught right here on the streets of Greensboro.

20-year-old Donnyll Dailey, is charged with forcing his way into a woman's home in Oklahoma, beating her, sexually assaulting her and shooting her husband last week. US Marshals tracked him to a hotel in Greensboro and took him into custody without incident.

Here's how Marshals say the crimes happened:

"On February 26, 2018, two men allegedly knocked and requested assistance before they forced their way into a Lakeside Village apartment in Oklahoma City. A woman had returned home from dropping her children off at school while her husband slept. When the woman opened the door, a man put a gun under her chin and forced her back into her apartment. The woman was beaten and raped while her husband was shot several times.

Oklahoma City Police Department identified two suspects, Estevon Martin and Donnyl Dailey, arresting the first man in Oklahoma City. Information was developed that Dailey had travelled to North Carolina.

Through partnership and diligent investigation by multiple agencies in Oklahoma and North Carolina, the US Marshals Service JFTF was able to devise the capture of Dailey in Greensboro, NC on the morning of March 3, 2018. The US Marshals developed information that Dailey was in Greensboro staying at a hotel. Members of the JFTF surrounded the hotel to eliminate potential for Daily’s flight from justice, and approached the hotel room with ballistic shields. Dailey was taken into custody at the hotel room without incident."
