Man Charged With Murder Of Winston-Salem Man Shot In His Home

WINSTON-SALEM, NC (WFMY) -- Winston-Salem police have made an arrest in the shooting that killed 48-year-old, Timothy Jerome Ford.

Ford was shot August 25, 2018, at his home and later died at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

As a result of the continuing investigation into Mr. Ford's death, 21-year-old Torrian Kane Faggart has been charged with General Murder.

Faggart surrendered to officers Sunday at the Winston-Salem Police Department's Public Safety Center located at 725 North Cherry Street.

Faggart is currently being held at the Forsyth County Detention Center without bond.

He is due in court September 4, 2018.
