Hit-and-Run in Davidson County Leaves Pedestrian With Serious Injuries

Troopers are looking for a 2005 silver Chrysler 200 with damage to the right front bumper and a broken fog light.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, N.C. -- Highway Patrol is asking the public for help with finding a driver suspected of hitting a pedestrian and leaving the scene in Davidson County.

The hit-and-run happened Sunday, February 25 around 6 a.m. Troopers say a 2005 silver Chrysler 200 struck a person in the 4500 block of Old Salisbury Road and took off. The car was last seen going south on Old Salisbury Road.

Troopers say the pedestrian was taken to Baptist Hospital with serious injuries.

Highway Patrol says the Chrysler has damage to the right front bumper and the fog light has been broken off.
