RALEIGH, N.C. -- Nothing brings comfort to a scared child like a stuffed animal.
Thanks to a generous donation of stuffed animals more children will feel safe in emergency situations.
The North Carolina State Highway Patrol thanked Cathy Critchfield who donated stuffed animals to troopers on their Facebook page.
The troopers will keep the stuffed animals in their vehicles to give them to children who have been in vehicle crashes to help bring them comfort.
